Sticking with the abstract style of ‘Moon,’ I decided to explore the elements, with the 3D texture now recreating the seabed. ‘Sea’ has a softer feel at the edge, with much more blending to demonstrate a calm shore. In contrast, the darkness refers to the mysterious depths of the deepest parts of our waters, still more than 80% unexplored. Rounded markings illustrate the hydrologic cycle, whilst jagged edges show the crashing of waves.
